School governors play a vital role in supporting and challenging the school to ensure the best possible outcomes for our pupils. Governors help set the strategic direction of the school, hold leaders to account and ensure public money is well spent.

No specific background in education is required. What matters most is a willingness to learn, the ability to work as part of a team and a genuine interest in helping our school community thrive. Training and support are provided.
